  • Didier Boyet Shihan, Iaido 6th Dan

    Boyet Shihan was a direct student of Mitsuzuka Sensei and studied with him in Japan from 1977 to 2015.

  • Ken Watanabe Sensei, Iaido 5th Dan

    Ken Watanabe was a direct student of Rev. Kensho Furuya from 1988 to 2005. He is currently ranked 5th Dan and is the Iaido Chief Instructor at the Aikido Center of Los Angeles.

Seminar Details

In this seminar, they will be covering the traditional forms of Muso Shinden-ryu Iaido: shoden, chuden and okuden if time permits as well as seated and standing applications and other basic swordsmanship concepts. Combined these two instructors have almost 90 years of experience. This seminar is good for anyone wanting to refine their Iaido or learn Muso Shinden-ryu Iaido.

No prior Iaido experience required.
